Capt. Madhusudhan Muraleei is the Regional Sales Manager at Action Aviation, India. He completed his initial pilot training from Pan Am International Flight Academy, Miami, USA. Later, he did his Airbus A320 heavy jet type rating from Northwest Airlines Training Centre, Minneapolis, USA. Eventually finding his true passion he switched to aircraft sales and leasing industry around September 2009 and is now excelling in the field ever since.
Action Aviation was established in 2004 and is headquartered in Dubai, UAE. The firm has three other branches in India, United Kingdom, and USA. The company carries out aircraft sales and acquisitions in the business aviation field.
Action Aviation provides aircraft and helicopter brokerage services to many owners who wish to sell, as well as buyers in the market for the first time or replacing/upgrading their existing aircraft for something more suitable. Action Aviation has a portfolio of pre-owned aircraft it represents for sale, from light jets, mid-size jets and ultra-long-range luxury business jets.
In conversation with our author at Waypreneur Magazine, Capt. Madhu shared his insights about the ongoing market culture in the aviation industry. He said, “The market has seen an uplift, with more high net worth individuals (HNIs) opting out of commercial air travel.
Private jets are set to take centre stage in the coming months as the best way for uber-rich to get around the planet and while jet charter bookings are booming, so are the number of people, both inquiring about and buying their own aircraft.”
He further informed us about the utility of aviation in the corporate sector. He added, “Businesses frequently use private jets as tools to transport executives quickly between offices and meetings, and for other needs that airlines can’t satisfy, whether it be the convenience of not depending on airline schedules, the luxury of flying a private jet, or even just the privacy compared to packed airline.”
“I got into aircraft sales since I was well known with the technical aspects of an aircraft and was presented with favourable opportunities. I thought let’s give it a try and it worked out really well for me.” said Capt. Madhu when asked about the sudden switch from pilot to regional sales manager.
As someone who has experienced both technical and flying of an aircraft, one can believe he must be a great asset to his company. Along with that Capt. Madhu is an inspiration for aspiring youth as he opens up their minds to other opportunities in the aviation industry.
With his set of skills and vision, Capt. Madhu will be a great source of inspiration to thousands of young minds who wish to pursue a career in the aviation industry.
